NATIONAL BID INVITATION THE PROCUREMENT OF MATERIALS FOR FOCAD 23 AND CONVINO PROJECTS

Pastoralist Concern (PC) is a reputable national Civil Society Organization with over 30 years of dedicated service in Ethiopia. We are a non-political, non-religious, nonracial, and non-profit organization committed to creating a positive and lasting change in the life and livelihood of pastoral communities. PC hereby invites sealed bids from eligible, qualified, and competent suppliers/vendors to supply and deliver the following goods under our FOCAD 23 and CONVENIO Projects:

1. Somall Women Fighting for Their Rights’ (FOCAD 23)

2. Reducing gender gaps and gender-based violence in the southern part of the Somall Region, Ethiopia’ (CONVENIO)

These projects aim to strengthen socio-economic networks, participation, resilience, and reduce violence and reduction of gender inequality in the Somali Region Ethiopia.

Interested and qualified bidders are invited to submit their bids for one or more of the following lots:

 BID SUBMISSION INSTRUCTION

1. Bid Availability & Fee: A complete set of bidding documents with detailed technical specifications is available at the PC Head Office starting from September 7, 2025, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 200.00 (Two Hundred Birr).

2. Bid Validity Period: Bids must be submitted within seven (7) consecutive calendar days, from September 7, 2025, to September 14, 2025.

3. Bid Submission: All bidder must submit both technical & financial sealed documents, along with a proforma invoice, and placed into the “Bid Box” located at PC Addis Ababa Head Office no later than 5:00 PM on September 14, 2025.

4. Bid Opening: The public bid opening ceremony will be held at the PC Addis Ababa Head Office on September 15, 2025. Attending on the bid opening for bidders or their representatives is not a mandatory.

5. Mandatory Requirements: Bidders must include copies of the following valid documents with their bid:

• Renewed Trade License
• VAT Registration Certificate
• TIN Certificate
• Recent Tax Clearance Certificate from the concemed authority.

6. Bid Content: The bid document must clearly specify the type, make, model. country of origin, and delivery timeline for all items quoted.

7. Delivery Location: All goods must be delivered to the PC Head Office in Addis Ababa.

8. Right of Reservation: Pastoralist Concern reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in part or in full, without providing any reason.
