Bid Announcement for Procurement of Motorcycles

Background

The Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE), established in 1966, is a volunteer-based, not-for profit charity Association providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services. FGAE is an accredited member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), joining the Federation since 1970. The Association is known to have pioneered Family Planning (FP) services in Ethiopia.

The purpose of this bid is, therefore, to engage competitive firms who can supply 150Cc Indian Origin (Boxer/TVS) motorcycle for FGAE with the following specification.

Description of the equipment

Major specifications of the required Motorcycle are: –

• 150Cc, with 5 strokes, Indian Origin (Boxer/TVS) with full accessories (essential Screws, Helmet, & Back- box).
• With best ground clearance (>30cm)
• Able to be operated in at Woreda level settings.
• With best fuel economy.

Based on the above specification, Interested Supplier can submit their technical proposal (catalogue / brochure / pictures. Of the vehicle) and financial proposals within 6 calendar days starting from the date of announcement of this bid, i.e. May 30, 2026 in to the bid box availed at. Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE).

Collection of TOR & Submission of Bid Document:

1. All competing firms are required to submit two copies of (original and copy) the Technical and Financial Proposal on or before June 4, 2026, at 6:00 local time) The technical document is expected to include the firm’s legal documents, l.e. trade license, TIN, and tax dues, recommendations, and similar successful sales activity accomplished.

2. Financial bid requirement shall be prepared separately in two copies, sealed and waxed envelope N: B: The financial proposal should be inclusive of VAT.

3. Bid documents shall be deposited in the box provided for this purpose at the address mentioned below.

4. The bid will be closed on June 4, 2026, at 6:00 local time, and opened on June 06/2025,8:30 local time. on the same day in front of bidders or their representatives on the 4th floor of the new FGAE building named after Dr. Shimelis Adugna around Gazebo adjacent to Atlas Medical Sciences College.

5. FGAE reserves the full right to cancel the bid.
