1. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), toward the cost of the Improvement of Sanitation Facility Program in six towns of Ethiopia. and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of 9 Vacuum Trucks with Capacity of 8m3 to delivery MOWE Office, Addis Ababa within 120 days delivery period.

2. The Ministry of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of 9 Vacuum Trucks with Capacity of 8m3.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International) (ICB) method as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Framework Procurement Policy and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Water and Energy, through email: feyeramossisa@gmail.com or Adisalbazo@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:30 am to 12:00 am noon in the morning and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the address given below.

5. A complete set of bidding document in English will be available and can be downloaded from ministry web page using the following link free of cost https://www.mowe.gov.et/en/resource_types/procurement-files-. Bidders are required to register in person at the following address before downloading the document and submitting their bids.

6. Replies to clarification requested by bidders will not be emailed directly to bidders. All responses to clarification will be posted in the above link on the ministry website during the bidding process for all clarification/amendments with respect to this IFB.

7. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 19, 2026, Time 10:00 am. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders or representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on June 19,2026. Time 10:30 A.M.

8. Bid shall be valid for a period of 120 days after the bid submission deadline.

9. Ministry of water and Energy reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
