1. Introduction

Miramar International Foundation (MIF) is registered as a Foreign Flo Organization in Ethiopia under the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO), in accordance with Proclamation No. 1113/2019. To maintain its legal personality and comply with statutory requirements, MIF is seeking 4. a qualified external audit firm to conduct the financial audit for the fiscal years 2024 and 2025.

2. Objective of the Audit

The primary objective is to obtain an independent professional opinion on the financial statements of MIF for the years ending December 31, 2024, and December 31, 2025. The audit must ensure that the organization’s financial reports are prepared in all material respects in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework and the requirements of Proclamation No. 1113/2019.

3. Scope of Work

The selected auditor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a full audit of the foundation’s annual financial statements.
  • Verifying income, expenditures, assets, and liabilities.
  • Assessing compliance with the “Civil Society Organizations Proclamation start No. 1113/2019″.
  • Evaluating internal control systems and providing a Management Add Letter highlighting any observed weaknesses and recommendations for Guj improvement.

4. Deliverables

The audit firm is expected to submit:

1. Independent Auditor’s Report containing the professional opinion on the financial statements. able nousul

2. Audited Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes).

3. Management Letter addressed to the Board/Management regarding internal controls and compliance.

4. Reports must be provided in a format suitable for submission to the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO).

5. Requirements for Audit Firms

Interested firms must provide:

  • A valid Professional License and Business License for the current Ethiopian fiscal year.
  • Registration certificate from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE).
  • Tax Identification Number (TIN) and VAT Registration Certificate.
  • A company profile demonstrating experience in auditing Foreign NGOs or Civil Society Organizations in Ethiopia.
