1. The Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Bureau of Agriculture has received loan from World Bank financing toward the cost of the cost of the Food System Resilient Program, and it intends to apply part of the fund toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Refrigerated fish product transporting Truck. Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Bureau of Agriculture now invite sealed bids from eligible bidders for Procurement of Refrigerated fish product transporting Truck.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive bidding procedures as specified in the world Bank Procurement Regulation: procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA credits (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Regulation.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from Benishangul Gumuz Regional State Bureau of Agriculture at the address below during office hours 8:30 to 5:30 A.M. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of nonrefundable fee of 1000.00 ETB (One Thousand ETB). Method of payment will be in cash against receipt. Bidders are required to attach with their bids, a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT certificate, Valid Tax clearance and TIN certificate.
4.  Place of Delivery Asossa, Bureau of Agriculture Main compound.
5. Bids must be submitted to the address below on or before June 12/2026 at 2:00 P.M. in the afternoon.
6. One original and one copy of Technical and Financial Bids sealed separately and enclosed in one mother envelop in accordance with the requirements presented in the Bid data sheet.
7. The Bid will be opened on June 12/2026 at 2:30P.M. in the after noon specified on invitation at the newspaper, in the presence of Bidders or representatives who choose to attend at BGRS Bureau of Agriculture, Procurement and Property Administration Directorate room.
8. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security 260,000.00 ETB (Two Hundred Sixty Thousand birr only) in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank guarantee to BGRS Bureau of Agriculture and shall remain valid for 60+28 days (Sixty days + Twenty Eight days). Insurance Bond is not acceptable. For Unconditional Bank Guarantee, the Bidders must use the Bank Guarantee form included in section IV (Bid Form) of the Bidding Document.
9. Bid shall be valid for period of 60+28 days after Bid Submission deadline.
10. The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the bids. Late bids will be rejected.
