NEXUS ETHIOPIA is a national, non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organization established and registered as a National NGO in accordance with the new CSO Proclamation No. 1113/19, under registration number 6225. NEXUS ETHIOPIA is currently implementing an EHF funded integrated protection response project for displacement affected communities in Oromia Region, East Wollega zone in Ibentu and Haro Limu woredas. As part of this project, the organization is looking to undertake the procurement and supply of Dignity Kits, as itemized in the bid description. Thus, NEXUS ETHIOPIA invites all eligible suppliers who fulfill the key requirements as per the mandatory bid requirements to submit a sealed bid.

• Bid description: Supply and Delivery of Dignity Kit Items
• Closing date: in Five working days after the bid issue date
• Main items comprise: Menstrual Hygiene kits, Underwear, Body and laundry soap, Combs & small items, Solar Flashlight, Whistle and 10L Bucket.

Qualification Requirements Suppliers are eligible only if they satisfy all of the following:

(1) renewed Trade License;

(2) TIN Certificate;

(3) VAT / Registration; and

(4) valid Registration Certificate.

The supplier whose bid is accepted shall, if required, provide evidence of eligibility through certificates issued by competent authorities. Closing Date: Quotations must be received by the Contracting Authority by hand no later than the closing date and time stated above. Any quotation received after that time will not be considered.

Bid Opening and Evaluation: Bids will be opened on the closing date stated above, in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend, at the NEXUS ETHIOPIA Office Conference Room. Bids will be evaluated in two stages: the technical bids will be opened and evaluated first, and the financial bids of only those bidders found to be technically compliant will be opened on the same day, once the technical evaluation has been completed.

Validity: Bids shall remain valid and open for acceptance for a period of six (6) days after the closing date.

Tender Guarantee: All quotations must be accompanied by a tender guarantee of a minimum of 2% of the total tender amount. The guarantee must be issued by a legally recognized bank in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) drawn in favor of NEXUS ETHIOPIA, and shall remain valid for 6 days beyond the bid validity period. Price: The price quoted by the supplier shall not be subject to adjustment on any account, except as otherwise provided in the conditions of the contract. All prices shall be quoted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB).

NB: NEXUS ETHIOPIA reserves the right to fully or partially cancel this tender at any stage, for its own convenience and without any charge or liability. Bidders can pay 200 Birr and collect bid documents from Nexus Ethiopia Head Office in Addis Ababa, Bole Subcity, woreda 10.
