FOR PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE

Yewedekutin Ansu Charity Association for Destitute (YACAD) is a registered, non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, dedicated to supporting abandoned, elderly, sick, and highly vulnerable individuals. Established in 1998 E.C., the Association operates under the motto “Lifting the fallen is our honor”

Yewedekutin Ansu Charity Association for Destitute (YACAD) is registered as local non-governmental organization (NGO) in Ethiopia by the Agency for Civil Society Organization under registration No. 1195

Yewedekutin Ansu Charity Association for Destitute (YACAD) is seeking to hire external auditors to conduct audit for its financial statements ending 07 July 2026.

The financial statements subject to the annual audit is prepared based on the accrual basis of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

Requisite Qualification

The Auditor requires to meet the following conditions:

a) The audit firm is a member of a National Accounting or Auditing Body or Institution which in turn is a member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFA).

b) The audit firm is a member of a National Accounting or Auditing Body or Institution and commits itself to undertake this engagement in accordance with the IFAC standards and ethics.

c) The audit firm is registered as a statutory audit firm in the public register of a public oversight authority (Accounting & Auditing Board of Ethiopia) in the country and holds good records in performing credible financial audits among international nongovernmental organizations in the country.

d) More than three years’ experience IPSAS based financial statements audit

e) Renewed Trade License

f) Tax Identification Number (TIN)

g) Value added Tax Certificate (VAT)

Application Procedure

Competent and interested audit firms are requested to submit their technical and financial proposal separately within seven consecutive days. Financial proposal should be inclusive of all associated costs and taxes for the assignment.

Yewedekutin Ansu Charity Association for Destitute (YACAD) reserves all right to accept or reject partial or all bids.
