EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – OFFICE PREMISES FOR UNHCR COUNTRY OFFICE ADDIS ABABA

UNHCR Representation in Ethiopia invites expressions of interest from property owners and registered real estate
agencies for the identification of suitable office premises for the relocation of the UNHCR Country Office in Addis Ababa.

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is intended solely for market assessment purposes. It does not constitute a commitment by UNHCR to lease any property. Following completion of the market survey and management review, UNHCR may launch a formal competitive solicitation process in accordance with its procurement procedures.

REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

The Expression of Interest (EOI) documents provide the requirements for the proposed office premises and associated facilities.

The EOI documents may be obtained:

• From the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM): www.ungm.org; or
• In person from the Supply Unit, UNHCR Country Office Addis Ababa, Monday to Friday, between 08:30 and
  15:00, at the following address:

Closing date for submission: 22 July 2026 at 17:30 (local time).

All Expressions of Interest shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the EOI document.
Submissions may be delivered by email to ETHADSMS@unhcr.org or by sealed envelope delivered by hand or through an express courier service. Where submissions are delivered in person, the submitting representative or courier shall sign the submission register upon delivery.

All requests for clarification shall be submitted in writing to ETHADSMS@unhcr.org 

Following the closing date, UNHCR will review all Expressions of Interest received and may shortlist suitable properties for site inspections. Subject to the outcome of the market assessment, UNHCR may subsequently launch a formal competitive procurement process for the lease of office premises in accordance with UNHCR procurement procedures.
