Purpose & Scope The ICRC Ethiopia Delegation invites eligible, qualified transport companies and lifting equipment service providers to express interest in prequalifying for future procurement opportunities. The goal is to build a pool of prequalified service providers to support ICRC logistics and humanitarian supply chain operations across the country.

Required Fleet & Equipment Categories

• Transport Vehicles:

  • Heavy Truck & Trailer (Indicative Capacity: 40 MT)

  • Medium-Heavy Truck & Trailer (Indicative Capacity: 20 MT)

  • Medium Truck & Trailer (Indicative Capacity: 10 MT)

  • Light Truck & Trailer (Indicative Capacity: 5 MT)

• Lifting Equipment:

  • Mobile/Mounted Crane Services (Capacity as per requirement)

  • Forklifts Class I (Up to 3.5 tons)

  • Forklifts Class II (3.5 – 7.0 tons)

  • Forklifts Class III (7.0 – 12.0 tons)

  • Forklifts Class IV (Above 12.0 tons)

Minimum Eligibility & Submission Criteria

Applicants must submit the following documentation:

• Legal Registration: Valid business/trade license, Tax Identification Number (TIN), VAT registration certificate (if applicable), and commercial transport operating license.

• Company Information: Up-to-date company profile, contact details, physical address, and a list of major clients served over the last 3 years.

• Fleet Inventory & Coverage: Detailed fleet/equipment list (including registration numbers, capacities, year of manufacture, and ownership/lease status) and specified geographical coverage areas (regions, zones, woredas).

• Compliance & Operations: Evidence of past performance in transport/logistics, valid insurance policies (vehicles, equipment, cargo), and proof of qualified, licensed drivers/operators.
