External Audit or Recruitment Announcement

Safegrow Charitable organization is a dedicated nonprofit organization registered under Authority for Civile Society organizations in Ethiopia. Our mission is to uplift disadvantaged children and vulnerable individuals by providing essential resources. In line with legal and organizational requirements, Safegrow Charitable Organization would like to hire a registered external auditor to conduct the annual audit of its financial statements for the 2018 Ethiopian Fiscal Year (E.C.).

1. Objective

To engage a licensed external auditor to review and prepare the annual audit report of Safegrow Charitable Organization’s budget/financial statements for the 2018 E.C. budget year, in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the relevant regulatory requirements for Civil Society organizations in Ethiopia.

2. Scope of Work

• Review the organization’s financial records, books of accounts, and supporting documents for the 2018 E.C. budget year
• Assess internal control systems and financial management practices
• Prepare and submit a comprehensive annual audit report in accordance with Ethiopian auditing standards and the Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) requirements
• Provide recommendations for improving financial management, where necessary

3. Requirements / Qualifications

Interested auditors (individual or audit firms) must:

• Be legally registered and licensed to practice as an auditor in Ethiopia
• Possess a valid and renewed business/professional license
• Have a Tax Identification Number (TIN) and current tax clearance certificate
• Have relevant experience auditing NGOs/charitable organizations (preferred)
• Submit a complete company/individual profile

4. Required Documents

• Renewed business license (copy)
• TIN certificate (copy)
• Tax clearance certificate (copy)
• VAT registration certificate, if applicable (copy)
• Company/professional profile and relevant experience
• Financial/technical proposal, including audit fee
