In partnership with civil society organizations, private sector, and the government, SHA has reached a lot of Ethiopians with interventions to save lives and build secure livelihoods. SHA has various projects in Amhara, Oromiya, and South regions of Ethiopia.

Self Help Africa (SHA), in partnership with the trust and foundations donors, is implementing WASH interventions in Mekaneyesus and Jari Kutir | IDP sites in Tehuledere District, South Wollo Zone, Amhara Region, with financial support from Electric Aid, Bishop’s Appeal, and anticipated funding from FORSA.

In response to these needs, SHA plans to utilize the support from Electric Aid, Bishop’s Appeal, and anticipated funding from FORSA to improve and rehabilitate existing water supply and sanitation infrastructure in the two IDP sites in Mekaneyesus and Jari Kutir I IDP sites in Tehuledere District, South Wollo Zone, Amhara Region. The planned activities will prioritize strengthening water availability and distribution, rehabilitating and restoring existing sanitation facilities, and improving the operation and maintenance of WASH facilities to ensure their continued functionality and sustainability

Your bid submission, consisting of both the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal in a separate sealed envelopes, must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the instruction to bidders. Eligible bidders are contractors holding a valid WWC Five (5) or above license, with renewed business license for 2018 EC, and who are VAT registered. Interested bidders may obtain the bidding documents from the date of publication of this advertisement until September 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm. Bid submission is on October 05, 2026 fill 10:00 am, and will be opened on October 05, 2026 at 10.30 am East African Time. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
