Full contract for the Construction of Accessible Household Latrines in Sherkole, Tsore, Ura and Bambasi refugee camps, in Benishangul Gumuz, Assosa.

HelpAge Ethiopia, as part of the HelpAge International global network, has constructed inclusive latrines across Ethiopia to improve access to safe, accessible, and dignified sanitation facilities for older people, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other persons with specific needs (PSNs). These facilities benefit internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and host communities by promoting dignity, independence, safety, and inclusion, enabling users to meet their sanitation and hygiene needs with greater comfort and reduced reliance on caregivers. HelpAge Ethiopia is duly registered by the FDRE Authority for Civil Society Organization bearing Registration Number 7632.

HelpAge Ethiopia is now seeking bids from qualified bidders’ grade 7 and above contractors for the construction of Accessible Household Latrines in Sherkole, Tsore, Ura and Bambasi refugee camps, in Benishangul Gumuz, Assosa. Total cost of Construction Work, supply and all necessary materials.

Requirements:  

• A trade license and construction service certificates valid for the current fiscal year (2026 GC or 2019 E.C).
• A valid registration certificate from the Woreda/Zone microenterprise development (IMX) office is also acceptable.
• Tax and TIN registration certificate.
• Renewed Business License in respective area.
• Proof of track record of similar work & Testimonies of related services
• Clarity of specifications and descriptions
• Bid bond: 2% in the form of CPO only.

HelpAge Ethiopia will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by bidders concerning the preparation and delivery of bids.

1. Bid Collection Method: A complete set of tender documents can be collected for free starting from October 28, 2026, from HelpAge Ethiopia office Located in Addis Ababa, Kirkos Sub-city, Axum Building 4^th Floor (on the way from Urael to Atlas) Tel+251 (0) 111261535/37 and or Asossa field office, Tel +25990220222on and before the deadline.
2. Bid Air and Closing dates: The bid stays on air from October 28-November 07, 2026. The bid will be closed on November 07, 2026, at 10:30 AM and be opened at 11:00 AM on the same day (November 07, 2026) at Asossa field office and head office simultaneously.
3. HelpAge Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel partially or the entire bid.
4. Bid submission date: the bid document must be submitted to HelpAge Ethiopia office in Addis Ababa, Kirkos Sub-city, Woreda 01, Axum Building 4^th floor (on the road from Urael-Atlas), Tel number: +251111261535/37 or Asossa field office, Tel +25990220222 on and before the deadline.
5. Note: Quotations Transmitted in any other manner than those indicated above will not be considered.
