Notice to bidders MEA- 01/2025

Central Ethiopia Region Mines and Energy Agency hereby invites sealed bids from qualified and eligible bidders for the supply of Biogas appliances (Biogas stove, Dome pipe, Dung mixer and bricks mold)

Requirements:

1. Bidders should present a business licensee valid for the current year and registration certificate for VAT & Tax payer’s certificate.

2. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of birr 300.00 /three hundred birr only/

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from CENTRAL ETHIOPA MEA office wolkite city,

4. Bids shall be valid for 60 days after bid opening. Bids should be accompanied by bid security of ETB 25,000 in the form of CPO or bank guarantee.

5. Bids must be delivered to the CENTRAL ETHIOPA MEA, Wolkite city, at or before 02:00pm on 15th consecutive day of this announcement on newspaper. Electronic bidding will not be permitted.

6. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their legal representative who are interested to attend at 02:30PM on 15th day of announcement this invitation for bids notice on the newspaper at CENTRAL ETHIOPIA MEA, wolkite city. If there will be public holiday and weekend on this date, the closing and opening of the bid will take place on the next working day at the same time and the same venue.

7. The offer document should be neat, clear.

8. Bids that are received from bidders shall he sealed and stamped

9. Bids that received after the tender box has been closed will be rejected and returned unopened.

10. Bidders should be manufacturers of metal based products or Biogas Appliances;

11. Bidders must provide a sample of Dome pipe, Dung Mixer and Biogas during submission of bid document.

12. The CENTRAL ETHIOIPA MEA- reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
