Invitation for Bid

International Competitive Biddings (ICB) Framework Procurement (For Three Years) Cold-Rolled Grain-Oriented (CRGO) Electrical Steel (CORE SILICON),Copper Rod 8mm and transformer raw material. The Ethio- Engineering Group Power Equipment Manufacturing Industry invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of goods mentioned below.

1. Bidding will be conducted according to with the open International Competitive Bidding; a procedure contained in the proclamation of the government of the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders from eligible source countries.
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethio – Engineering Group Power equipment Manufacturing Industry and inspect the bidding documents during office working hours 8:30 AM -4:00 PM at the address given below.
3. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders at the address of Ethio -Engineering Group Power equipment Manufacturing Industry, 2rd floor by paying Returnable 300 Ethiopian birr and take the document in softcopy.
4. Sealed bid must be delivered to the address mentioned below within 30 floating date of the bid.
5. Bidders shall be required to submit bid documents in Three (3) envelopes containing the technical proposal, bid bond (CPO) and financial proposals.
6. The Bidder shall prepare and submit one original and two copies of the technical part, shall prepare and submit one original and two copies of the Financial offer (Bid price Schedule), shall submit the BID BOND/Guarantee in a separate/third/envelope clearly marking it as “bid guarantee” & the three envelopes shall then be enclosed inside one big envelope, all together.
7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for LOT 1 -Cold-Rolled Grain-Oriented (CRGO) Electrical Steel $2,500 (TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED USD), for LOT 2 – Copper Rod 8mm $5,100(FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED USD), LOT-3- transformer raw materials $2,500.00 (TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED USD) The bid security can be booked in dollars (USD) and if it is Birr in Ethiopia, it can be booked in Birr according to the dollar currency of the day in the form of CPO or unconditional bank counter guarantee through any Bank of Ethiopia in the name of Ethio-Engineering Group Power equipment Manufacturing Industry.

9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who anyone who chooses to attend the event at the address below at 2:00 Pm.
10. Bids must be delivered to and will be closed at Ethio – Engineering Group Power equipment Manufacturing Industry, 3rd floor, Conference Hall at 1:30 Pm. and Opened at 2:00 Pm
11. Ethio – Engineering Group Power equipment Manufacturing Industry reserves the right to reject the bid in whole or partially.
