BID NOTICE FOR THE SALE OF METAL EQUIPMENTS

Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) would like to sale the following items stored at Koka Hydropower plant site in their current condition. The items include: Steel plate, round bar & Pipe.

The bid, therefore, is open to any bidders who meet the following criteria:

Reminder: The auction will be conducted exclusively through the Auction Ethiopia application. The application can be downloaded from the

App Store or Play Store by searching “Auction Ethiopia,” or accessed online at www.auction.et for registration and participation. The requirements are outlined as follows:

1. Bidders (Local or international) must have a renewed business license in the sector and international bidders should provide an authenticated business license & all related document authenticated by relevant authorities (Ethiopian Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

2. Bidders must upload proof of VAT registration, TIN (Tax Identification Number) and their identity card through the Auction Ethiopia application or website as requested.

3. Tender Details: A detailed document explaining the auction process and the list of assets is available for free download on the Auction Ethiopia platform under the asset details section.

4. Asset Viewing: Bidders can visit the designated sites to inspect the assets in person. To do so, they must schedule an appointment with Auction Ethiopia starting from the 7th day after the auction notice is published. Viewings are allowed on working days from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM local time.

5. The bid winner shall bear the cost of packing, unpacking, moving, and transporting the goods from where they are in the project site to their destination, customs formalities, tax and exeise, freight, and other related expenses;

6. Auction Period: The auction will run from April 14, 2026, to April 29, 2026, until 10:00 AM. Bidders or their legal representatives can follow the process online in real time.

7. Bidders must fulfil bid evaluation criteria price and Complete Bid Guarantee/CPO/.

8. Bid winners shall pay the full amount of the price within 10 /Ten/ consecutive working days, after announcement, if they fail to pay the full amount within the stipulated time their CPO will be confiscated by EEP.

9. The bid winners are obliged to collect their property in under two months, which starts counting from the signing day of the agreement.

11. The seller/EEP/reserves all legal right to fully or partially cancel the bid.
